Juanjo Molina is an award-winning composer specialised in film scoring and visual media, with a distinctive voice that moves between the epic and the intimate — from large-scale fantasy and orchestral storytelling to character-driven dramatic scoring.
With nearly twenty-five years of experience across film, TV series, theatre and video games, Juanjo brings to every project a rare combination of skills: the narrative instinct of a seasoned dramatist, the technical precision of an orchestrator and conductor, and the emotional directness of a songwriter.
His original musicals include Christmas Dreams — a commercial success at the Teatro Calderón and the Teatro Rialto on Gran Vía — and Hadas el musical, whose original soundtrack is available on all major platforms. His most recent work, La Rosa 14, a dramatic theatre production opening at the Teatro Pavón in Madrid, sold out its six-performance run before opening night — a testament to his ability to craft music that serves complex, emotionally layered storytelling.
This breadth of work — spanning fantasy, drama and song — has shaped a compositional language equally at home in animated features, fantasy films, prestige TV drama and character-driven cinema.
International recognition includes Best Original Score at Bridge Fest Vancouver (2021) and FICOCC (2018).
